Seeing as his amulet cracked when Liu Kang won in the last tournament I agree with the info he had so far, he should've looked for another way to win this tournament as he needs to alter things somehow which is way easier said than done given what little information he has. Not much to say for all of this so I'll move on. But given the severity of the situation, everything that plays out in the old tournament couldn't be helped. I wouldn't be surprised actually if Sonya could best the sorcerer as the writing in canon isn't the greatest.

Yea, good thing he saves Sonya from trying to fight Shang Tsung lol. I think he handled it the best way he could.Ģ. But thanks to Quan Chi's manipulation and Scorpion being blinded by anger he kills Bi Han regardless.

With his knowledge, he goes to Scorpion and pleads for him to spare Bi Han promising to return the Shirai Ryu back to the living if he complies. As he says in MK, he can't participate in the tournament so everyone is on their own once a fight starts. Now, he does actually try to save Bi Han. So with this limited knowledge as well as visions of basically events that will transpire resulting in everyone getting killed let's see how he goes about it. To be fair, Shao Kahn was just about to play a friendly game of whack a mole with him so he didn't have much time to think about it I'm sure. It could've been alot easier to say "Shao Kahn must win" as that's the plot twist at the end of MK9 but even then, it's still kind of vague but I think it would be alot better and not as cryptic. I want to defend Raiden as everyone especially in MK11 shits on him for whatever reason. He fails to save Bi-Han, gets Sub-Zero (Kuai Liang) turned into a cyborg, gets Kitana captured, Kung Lao is killed, fails to see to it that Shao Kahn is actually dead, gets basically everyone killed in MK by consulting with the Elder Gods resulting in Liu Kang losing faith in him, and kills Liu Kang in the end. I mean he wins but he also doesn't.win? Lol. With the tournament playing out like in the first MK game, Raiden, who is given visions of what is to come tries his best to save the future by altering the past. But Raiden gets the last laugh and actually sends a message back in time to his past self with the words: "He must win!". Shao Kahn gets Blaze's power, beats the snot out of Raiden, and is going to go all Darkseid on everyone's ass. So.We all know what happens at the beginning of MK9. (Will talk about MKX and 11 some other time). I won't necessarily talk about Old Timeline Raiden as I never played those games growing up (Deception, Deadly Alliance, Armageddon, etc.) I will instead be focusing on the New Timeline Raiden from MK9. Ever since I was a kid playing MK2 for the first time it was a franchise that I always loved even the Injustice games even though I really suck at fighting games.
